Engine House Tours

Golden Spike National Historic Site is home to the steam locomotives Jupiter and No. 119. These engines are fully-functional replicas of the original locomotives that met here on May 10, 1869, for the "Wedding of the Rails" ceremony. During Winter the locomotives are in the Engine House for repairs and clean up.  If you would like to see the Jupiter and No. 119, ranger led tours are available during the winter months on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
