National Park Service Historic American Building Survey


Since 1934, the National Park Service Historic American Building Survey (HABS) has documented historic structures through photographs and architectural drawings. When documentation is completed, its deposited in the Library of Congress. In the 1930's Fort Jay was documented. In 1984, Castle Williams, Fort Jay and numerous other historic buildings were documented.
