7/31/03   As West Glacier was evacuated, another controlled Burnout took place to reduce fuel sources. These pictures were taken at the West Glacier bridge overlooking the Flathead River.

8/10/03   Due to extremely hot, dry, and windy conditions, the Robert Fire exploded once again. The fire advanced on the north side of Lake McDonald along Howe Ridge and Rocky Point. Video of the fire can be seen here.
