Reachable only by boat from Canada, Goat Haunt is a tiny pocket of civilization in the wilderness. Goat Haunt Overlook, accessible by a steep one mile trail from the ranger station, offers an expansive view of Waterton Lake, looking north into Canada.

During the summer, boats from Waterton cross the border several times a day, allowing visitors a truly international visit to Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park.
