This view of the "U-shaped" Lake McDonald valley from Bird Woman Falls Overlook is evidence of the power prehistoric glaciers had in carving and sculpting the landscape.

Clouds cover Mt. Oberlin (left) and Mt. Cannon (right). Within a few months, as the snow recedes, Bird Woman Falls (distant center) will cascade down rocky slopes to Logan Creek.
