are some photos taken today of the plowing operations, and some loose
snow sluffs cascading down Mount Oberlin. The sluffs began at 11:40
and we observed 10 or more. This is a good indicator for the crew,
because in their experience these usually proceed any avalanche activity
in their work area by several hours. It had been cloudy all morning,
and a very brief break in the clouds resulted in these sluffs.
Despite the challenging winter-like conditions, the crew made great
progess today...
