Logan Pass is finally starting to melt out from the tremendous amounts of snow that fell last winter. As you can see here the trail below Clements Mountain, to Hidden Lake Overlook is still very snowy. Come prepared to get your feet wet.

This is a critical time of year for fragile alpine vegetation. The melting snowpack leaves the ground saturated with water and the soil extremely susceptible to disturbance. It is vital that visitors to alpine areas remain on the trails and walkways. Even one or two people walking in these moist meadows will cause extensive damage.
