Traveling Kintla Lake - August 26, 2005

Kintla Lake
The trail to the head of Kintla Lake is a gentle 6.3 mile (one way) hike with rolling hills. The trail hugs the shoreline for a bit, then meanders away before returning the the shoreline again prior to reaching the end.

Canoeing on Kintla Lake
Kintla Lake is a paddlers dream, as canoers and kayakers will find no motorized vessels on the lake. Sudden storms may occur without warning though, and life preservers worn either over or under clothing, are required.
