Sunset at Granite Park Chalet - August 20, 2005

Sunset at Granite Park Chalet (538kb)
Rich in history, Granite Park Chalet was built by the Great Northern Railway and served as a destination for backcountry visitors on horse. It is one of two remaining chalets in the park, the other being Sperry Chalet. Today, the chalet serves as a destination for day hikers and overnight backpackers. Those wishing to spend the night can expect rustic accommodations nestled within Glacier's wild interior.
