Sperry Chalet is one of two remaining chalets in the park, the other being Granite Park Chalet. Built by the Great Northern Railway, Sperry Chalet offered visitors a unique backcountry experience in Glacier's wilderness by means of horseback. Reached only by trail, the chalet is still a popular destination for guests by horseback and foot, and offers full service overnight occomodations.

The view shows the chalet, the restrooms, and the surrounding landscape, including a filtered view of Lake McDonald in the valley below.
