Sign Maker Dave Yeats prepares Glacier's new west entrance sign for
installation. The new sign and base was designed by one of Glacier's
Landscape Architects, Treff Alexander, and is meant to match the
mountain profile visitors see as they approach Glacier National Park
from Highway 2. Weighing close to 900 pounds, Dave Yeats constructed
the sign from douglas fir and redwood. It should stand the test of
time for years to come.

the design, fabrication, and safe installation of a sign that will
no doubt show up in many family vacation photo albums.
