On the top balcony of the southwest corner of the hotel, a screen door lays blown from its hinges. Every year the hotel takes a beating from severe winter weather. Grinnell Point can be seen towering over the door, with Mt. Wilbur in the right of the picture.

The majesty of Many Glacier can be seen here in this panoramic shot from the main balcony of the Many Glacier Hotel. Swiftcurrent Lake remains frozen and snow-covered. Mt. Gould is seen to the left, with Grinnell Point in the center, and Mt. Wilbur to the right.

The Swiftcurrent Motor Inn is seen here boarded up. Soon, this quiet location will be open for business. The slopes behind the Motor Inn will be the focal point for visitors eager to catch glimpses of grizzly bears foraging for food this summer.
