Winter Whitetails - February 25, 2006

One animal you are sure to see in Glacier during winter is the Whitetail deer. During the harsh winter months, deer will be out and about in search of food such as lichen or any exposed vegetation they may find. The deer photographed here are frequently seen in the housing area near park headquarters.
