Snowshoeing around Lake McDonald - January 5, 2006


After a few weeks of cloudy weather, the sun made it's first appearance of 2006, making Lake McDonald a hot destination on a cold winter day.

Starting January 8, 2006, Park Rangers will lead snowshoe walks every weekend (weather permitting), where visitors will learn how plants and animals survive the rigor and challenges of this difficult season. For more information, click here.
