Volunteer Opportunities

Sandy Hook's volunteers play an important role in our park. For more information about volunteer opportunities please call 732-872-5970.

Our volunteers play an important role in the continuing stewardship of our National Parks. Volunteers-in-Parks, also known as VIPs, are active, dynamic, creative individuals who possess the skills, desire, patience, and time to accomplish a wide variety of tasks. Discover more about volunteer opportunities in our Parks.

Students in high school and college are encouraged to participate in service internships and volunteer opportunities with the National Park Service. We work with the Student Conservation Association (SCA) to engage students who wish to take part in the meaningful conservation of our National Parks.
