Commercial visitor services planning will identify the appropriate role of commercial operations in helping parks to achieve desired visitor experiences and will be integrated into other plans and planning processes. Concession management plans or commercial services plans will support a park’s purpose and significance, exceptional resource values, and visitor experience objectives, and will be consistent with enabling legislation. These plans also determine whether proposed concession facilities and services are necessary and appropriate, and will consider alternatives.
