The second Fort Sumter Ferry Departure Facility is located at Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. This facility is located approximately four miles from downtown Charleston across the Cooper River Bridge. A new bridge is currently under construction to link Mt. Pleasant and Charleston, therefore, expect some construction delays. The Fort Sumter Ferry Departure Facility at Patriots Point is not handicapped accessible.
