specific structure is associated with this station, but there is a noncommissioned
officers family quarters at the rear of the dragoon barracks that has
some toys and childrens' items on display. This is the room where a
sergeant or corporal and his wife would have lived with their children.
The quarters were not as elaborate as an officer's quarters but at least
the family had some privacy. Laundresses married to privates may have
stayed in tents with their families.
Children of officers would have occupied one of the upstairs bedrooms
in an officer's quarters.
