and sort as they begin to form explanations of the

knowledge study tall grass prairie flowers and
grasses. Take a field trip to a gather prairie
flowers and grasses. (Be sure it is not a protected
prairie or plant.) In small groups, identify &
classify the flowers and grasses found by mounting
& labeling flowers and grasses on two separate
posters. Display the posters.
