The Pre-solicitation Notice for construction is now available. The solicitation will be issued electronically on the Department of Interior's National Business Center (NBC) web site at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be made available.

Title of Project:
Fort Necessity-National Road Interpretive and Education Center.
Description:
The work of this contract consists of a new two-story visitor center with stone cladding, siding and metal roofing and associated mechanical and electrical work including geothermal heating & cooling system; site development including demolition of existing structures, roads & parking. All work will be performed under a single contract.
Type of Procurement:
A negotiated firm-fixed price contract will be awarded requiring submission of both a technical and a price proposal and will be based on best value. The government will consider an offeror's technical capability in comparison to its price.
