Question: Where did ER live after the White House?

Answer:

[picture: Val-Kill Cottage in Hyde Park, NY] FDR left his family home, Springwood, to the federal government, thus freeing ER to make a home for herself. When she was not attending UN sessions outside the U.S., she divided her time between Val-Kill Cottage in Hyde Park and a series of apartments in New York City.
