Mound Sponge Painting

Duration: 20 minutes
Location: classroom
Objective: The student will be able to create a picture using mound-shaped sponges and paint.
Materials: sponges (pre-cut into mound shapes by teacher)
paint (various colors)
construction paper (white or a light color)

Procedure:
  1. The students use the sponges to sponge paint on the construction paper.  Optional:   After the paint is dry, the students could color a background (trees, plants etc.) and Woodland people.
