The following movies were taken from early Edison Kinetoscope films. These movies were filmed in the Black Maria, the world's first building constructed especially as a motion picture studio. If you wish to see more early Edison films the Library of Congress has a section on their web page devoted to these films.

The Kiss- a scandalous film for its time. From the play " The Widow Jones" with May Erwin and John Rice.

 

Sandow- The Strong Man. Various flexing and clenching of muscles.
