The four park units are located throughout the Dayton region. Travel between the sites is best by car or by the shuttle system. Visitors are encouraged to start their visit at either The Wright Cycle Company Complex or the Huffman Prairie Flying Field Interpretive Center. Once arriving at one of the interpretive centers visitors can receive directions to the other units.

By Car
Directions to The Wright Cycle Company Complex:
From Route 35 West
Follow 35 west, merge right onto 75 north and stay in right lane. Take Third Street exit and stay in left lane. Turn left at light onto West Third Street. Cross over Miami River and proceed through two traffic lights. Turn left onto South Williams Street. The Wright Cycle Company Complex will be on your immediate left. Follow Williams to Fourth Street; turn left and proceed into the parking lot on your left.

From Route 35 East
Follow 35 east, merge onto 75 north. Take Third Street exit and stay in left lane. Turn left at light onto West Third Street. Cross over Miami River and proceed through 3 traffic lights. The third light will be Williams Street. Turn left onto South Williams Street and park along the street. The Wright Cycle Complex will be on your immediate left.

From 75 North
Take exit 53 (Third Street). Turn right off of exit ramp onto Third Street. Proceed over Miami River and through 3 traffic lights. The third light will be Williams Street. Turn left onto South Williams Street and park along the street. The Wright Cycle Company will be on your immediate left.

Directions to Huffman Prairie Flying Field Interpretive Center:
From 75 South
Take State Route 4 north and exit onto 444. At the first light turn right onto Kauffman Road. Turn right immediately into Wright Brothers Hill. The interpretive center is located at the top of the hill.

By Plane
The nearest airport for scheduled passenger flights is Dayton International Airport. Other major airports within close proximity are Port Columbus International Airport and Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky International Airport. Nearby general aviation airports include the Dayton Wright Brothers Airport, Moraine Airpark, and Greene County Airport.

By Public Transportation
The Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority operates buses in close proximity to some Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park sites.

By Bus
There is a Greyhound Bus Line Station in downtown Dayton. It is located at 111 East Fifth Street.
