Brandywine Creek Culvert

Cuyahoga Valley National Park Logo

Photo: Brandywine CulvertThis stone arch culvert carried the Ohio & Erie Canal over Brandywine Creek. Larger streams required an aqueduct. Look for Brandywine Creek where it crosses the Towpath Trail just north of the Jaite paper-mill ruins.

Location: About 2/10 of a mile south of the Red Lock Trailhead (60K) on the Towpath Trail.
