Initially, three volumes were published each year during the summer months, then issued as one larger volume per year starting in 1946. The indices below will allow you to gain access to all issues, by volume number, volume/title, or author. Due to space limitations, these online editions do not contain the original artwork, photography, charts and diagrams which greatly enhanced the hardcopy editions. It should be noted that there were no Nature Notes published between the years 1939-1945 and 1957-1991.
Only a limited number of Nature Notes are printed each year. The most current edition is not posted in its entirety, but will be placed on-line next year. You may purchase current editions (and back issues, while supplies last) of Nature Notes (approximate cost $1.50 + postage), by writing to CLNHA's Business Manager, P.O. Box 157, Crater Lake OR 97604, or by calling (541)594-2211 ext. 499.
Should you reprint/repost any of the Nature Notes articles, it is permissible provided credit is given to the author(s), the publication, and Crater Lake Natural History Association.
