Fireworks will be JULY 3.

Our Independence Day Celebration will be on July 3 and 4 this year. Living history demonstrations will be on the afternoon/evening of July 3 and all day July 4. Park staff, volunteers, and Youth Conservation Corps from Kings Mountain NMP put up tent for event. (Click on image for larger image.)

July 3

8:50 p.m. Tyler Henderson sings a patriot selection.

9:00 p.m. Mike Roberts sings Lee Greenwood's God Bless the USA.

Between 9:15 and 9:30 p.m. Fireworks begin! Funded by donations to the Friends of Cowpens.

July 4

9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.Living History encampment

9:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. Guided battlefield walks on the hour.

12:30 - 1:50 p.m. Nick Hallman and the Nick Pickers will be performing in the Visitor Center auditorium.
