PARK MISSION STATEMENT
Cowpens National Battlefield is dedicated to protecting, preserving and educating the public on the historical, cultural and natural resources of this important revolutionary war battle site. The park commemorates this pivotal patriot victory by helping educate and inform current and future generations of the importance of the battle, its context in the Southern Campaign of the American Revolution and the dramatic role it played in a chain of events that led to the demise of the British empire in the Americas.
