- Tiger salamander (Abystome tigrinum) - rare
- Plains spadefoot toad (Scaphipus bombifrons) - common
along arroyo after early summer rains.
REPTILES
Lizards
- Collared lizard (Crotaphutus collaris) - often seen
at Pueblo Alto and Chetro Ketl.
- Many-lined skink (Eumeces multivirgatus) - common
- Side-blotched lizard (Uta Stanasburiana) - common
- Northern Plateau lizard (Sceloporous undulatus)
- Lesser earless lizard (Holbrookia maculata)
- Sagebrush lizard (Sceloporous graciosuss)
- Northern tree lizard (Urosaurus ornatus)
- Plateau whiptail

Snakes
- Gopher/bull snake (Pituophis melanoleucus) - common
around ruins.
- Prairie rattlesnake (Crotalus viridis) - common in
back country.
- Wandering garter snake (Thamnophis elegans)
- Desert striped whipsnake (Masticophis taeniatus)
- Painted desert glossy snake (Arizona elegans) - rare
- Night snake (Hypsiglena torquata) - rare
