Trailworkers Trail Crew: Thousands of visitors' feet have tread upon the trails, compacting the soil, making shortcuts, and causing erosion. Help us restore our trails so that visitors may continue to enjoy the mountain. See calendar of events for scheduled work dates.
Alien Plant Puller Volunteers Alien Plant Pullers: Catoctin has been invaded by alien plants that are threatening the existence of the native species. Pull them out by the roots so that the native plants may flourish. Weekends or weekday.
Hikers Foot Patrollers: The park always needs extra 'eyes and ears' looking for fallen trees, erosion problems, pets off leash, illegal campsites, etc. Turn your hike into a park patrol! Sign up at the Visitor Center and set your own schedule.
Resource Management Office Resource Management Interns: Interested in a career as a Park Ranger or Biologist? Our 12-week program is an excellent way to discover if you have what it takes. Gain career experience and potentially earn college credit.
