Camp Round Meadow
Camp Round Meadow accommodates a maximum ot 120 people. There
are 4 dormitories, each sleeping 30 people. Cots and mattresses
are provided. Campers bring all gear including detergents, toilet
papar and toilet articles, bedding, etc. The dormitory bathrooms
have electric outlets. Personal care appliances are permitted in
the bathrooms, but not in the dorms. Each lavatory in the dormitories
has two showers and two flush toilets. All have hot and cold water.

Camp Round Meadow
A kitchen and dining hall is available for use by groups for an
additional fee. Groups bring all dishes, utensils, cookware and
supplies. Preparation of food by groups is permitted or groups may
utilize near-by caterers.
There is a small outside court with a tennis net, volleyball net,
and basketball backboards. Tennis rackets, volleyballs, and basketballs,
and any other sports equipment are the responsibility of the group.
There is an outside fire circle near the court. A small grassy area
near dorm 232 provides limited area for frisbee and other lawn games,
excluding lawn darts and horseshoes.
A gym and conference room is available for an additional fee.
The gym contains a full basketball court (wood floor). No food or
beverages are allowed. Gym shoes with non-marking soles are required.
These must be "carry in" shoes, not worn outside prior to gym entry
to prevent tracking og gravel, etc. No street shoes!
Application forms may be obtained by writing Catoctin Mountain
Park, 6602 Foxville Road, Thurmont, MD 21788-1598, or by caling
the Administration Office at (301) 663-9330. Application forms will
be accepted by the park for the entire year from January 1st through
January 31st.
2006 RATES:
Camp Round Meadow is open for year round camping.
March-June, applications are due in January.
August-October, applications are due in May.
November-March, applications are considered on a first-come, first-served basis.
