Picnic Facilities

Chestnut Picnic Area is open year round and is wheelchair accessible. There are tables with grills, a short 1/4 mile loop nature trail - Spicebush Nature Trail, restroom facilities, and a small play area for children.

Owens Creek Picnic Area is open seasonally. There is a short 1/2 mile loop nature trail - Browns Farm Trail, flush toilets, tables, and grills.

In addition to Chestnut and Owens Creek picnic areas, there are a few picnic tables at some of our trailhead parking areas. These are very limited and have no grills. Fires are permitted only in grills. There are no facilities to dump used coals if you bring your own grill.
