Casa Grande Ruins is an important contributor to the local economy of Coolidge.  Casa Grande Ruins is also an important element of the Coolidge community's identity.  Alternatives studied in this report offer the opportunity to enhance Casa Grande's status as an internationally-known archeological resource.

The National Park Service proposes to acquire new lands in order to preserve cultural resources - particularly archeological sites - that are thematically related and significant to the interpretation of Casa Grande Ruins National Monument.
