Be a Casa Grande Ruins Jr. Web Ranger

Rangers enjoy meeting with you when you visit a park.

I
t's free and won't take long to become a

Casa Grande Ruins National Monument

Junior Web Ranger.

  1. Browse through the Fun Facts pages to learn all you can about the Casa Grande, how and why we protect it, and the prehistoric Hohokam inhabitants.  You can start your journey at the Fun Facts Home Page. Proceed through all the pages by using the Back and Next buttons at the bottom of each page.

On many of the pages, you'll find a pair of review questions.  As you complete each topic, try to answer the review questions to yourself or you can even write your answers down on a piece of paper to use as a reference as you're completing the Junior Web Ranger worksheet.

When you've finished the fun facts pages, it's important that you check with a parent or adult to make sure that it's OK for you to complete the worksheet.

Parents:  If you have concerns about providing this information please read the National Park Service privacy statement.

  1. Click on the Worksheet link to the left and you can complete your Jr. Web Ranger certificate worksheet.  Don't worry, many of the questions don't have "right" or "wrong" answers.  We're interested in seeing your ideas and we'll use your responses to help improve our website for future Junior Web Rangers.

  2. To complete the worksheet, click on the small box to the left of the question you’d like to answer.  A text box will open and you can type directly into the box.  You won’t be able to save your work, so either print out the worksheet or complete it all in one session.

When you've completed the worksheet, we'll help you email it to us, or we'll help you print a copy of your worksheet so you can send it by mail.

When we receive your worksheet, we'll review it to make sure you've worked hard to learn about Casa Grande Ruins.  As a reward for completing the worksheet, we'll send you a Casa Grande Ruins National Monument Jr. Web Ranger Certificate and a congratulatory letter from the Superintendent!  Have fun!
