  Many trails lead to beautiful vistas overlooking the Buffalo River Valley.Hit the trail for an up-close view of Buffalo National River. There are over 100 miles of maintained trails within the park, including the Buffalo River Trail and the Buffalo River section of the Ozark Highlands Trail. Generally speaking, the most popular trails are the Lost Valley Trail in the upper river and the Indian Rockhouse Trail in the lower district. Maps are available at all ranger stations or at the visitor center. Dogs and other pets are not permitted on park trails.
