Artist in Residence Selection Process and Application |

|
|
A panel
of professionals from various disciplines and park representatives will
choose the finalists. The selection is based on artistic integrity, a
willingness to donate a finished piece of work inspired by their stay, and
the artist’s ability to relate and interpret the park through their work. We
consider all forms of art except those that manipulate or disturb the park’s
environment or are added to the park's physical features. Selections are made
without regard to race, religion, marital status, sex, age or national
origin. The facilities used for this program are not wheelchair accessible.
Pets are not allowed. Applications for the
Artist-in-Residence program (three weeks long) must be postmarked by January
31 each year. Residencies are in spring (March – May), summer (June –
August), and fall (September – November). Please send an
