Recommended Readings

If you'd like to learn more about the Blue Ridge Parkway and its surroundings, there are many books available on just about every aspect imaginable. We've chosen a few for our reading list that we're fond of, and that should be easily found at your local bookshop. Our choices cover the history of the area and of the Parkway itself, activities such as mountain biking and hiking, pastimes such as wildflower and leaf identification, and some scenic looks at the always photogenic Blue Ridge Mountains. Product Catalog

Eastern National aids and promotes the historical, scientific, and educational activities of the National Park Service. It also supports research, interpretation, and conservation programs of the Service. As a non-profit cooperating association authorized by Congress, it makes interpretive material available to park visitors and the general public in its product catalog.
