Welcome to our Volunteers in Parks Scrapbook where we highlight what our volunteers have been doing in the Corridor. As you can see, the Corridor Commission volunteers have been very generous in donating their time and skills to sites and projects throughout the region.
You can take a quick look here to see what we are up to or you can click on the images to view them in full screen.
A special thanks to our VIP Kathy Barton who has designed the scrapbook pages. And also thanks to VIP Photographers Steve Riendeau and Cheryl Thompson Cameron for capturing volunteers in action.
Each year the VIP program continues to grow. Our volunteers contributed an amazing 30,297 hours in fiscal year 2005 – a 10% growth over last year.

Our VIPs can be found volunteering at partner sites around the Blackstone River Valley. Whether staffing a visitor center desk or showing up to lend a hand for special events, VIPs share resources to keep doors open and visitors happy.
From planning the details to seeing it through on the Big Day, volunteers make special events special in the Blackstone Valley.
