Making Things Work:
As the Heritage Corridor Commission is approaching its twentieth year, we are nearing an important crossroads. With the Commission’s legislative authority set to expire in November 2006, work has begun on creating reauthorization legislation that will allow the Heritage Corridor Commission to continue its vital work into the future. This process has allowed us to reflect on all of the Commission’s accomplishments.
Yet at the same time, the Commission staff continues to work with a myriad of partners through out the Blackstone River Valley – interpreting the stories of the people and places of the region, striving to restore our waterways and preserving some of our irreplaceable resources. 2005 proved to be another year of progress. To find out more about what the Corridor Commission has accomplished in the past year, please se a copy of the 2005 Annual Report.
