Based in Portland, OR, this site is dedicated to “supporting grassroots
river and watershed conservation groups,” and features local success
examples that are updated monthly.
American
Rivers
Twenty-five years in existence, this national, river-conservation advocacy
group is based in Washington D.C., with several field offices throughout
the country.
The
Waterfront Center
Founded in 1981 to help make “the wisest and best long-term uses
of waterfront resources for maximum public benefit.” This site offers
publications for purchase, and a newsletter featuring case studies from
around the nation.
