Stillwater Mills
Burrillville, Rhode Island

Located on the Clear River within the Stillwater National Register Historic District, the Stillwater Mill Complex is a collection of brick structures that have sat vacant for several years. Utilizing a $51,000 seed grant from the R.I. Economic Development Council, the Town developed a Master Plan for the site's development, and is working with HUD's Community Builders program to adaptively re-use these historic structures as low to moderate-income senior housing. Approximately 40-45 units are expected to be built on the site.
