Town of Douglas, Master
Plan
The 2000 census reports Douglas as having a population of just
over 7,000, a nearly 30% increase for the decade. In 1998, the Town began
a Master Plan process that has provided a framework for the community
to progress towards a vision of itself in the year "2020".

Burrillville, RI - Route 102
Study Committee
Led by its Town Manager and Planning Board, Burrillville is amid
a proactive process that seeks to preserve its village center while encouraging
new economic development opportunities along its major transportation
thoroughfare, Route 102.

The Town has identified areas to include in this overlay
zone that require review by special committee of projects with new construction.

Development Bylaw
A useful tool for helping to protect community character,
this bylaw allows for creative placement and design of homes that conventional
subdivision regulations typically prohibit.

Cumberland Design
Review Ordinance
In order to ensure that proposed development is consistent
with the established character of historic areas, the Town of Cumberland
has established a Design Review Commission.
