White River Visitor Center Closed June 30 and July 1 for Bombing Range Work

Superintendent William Supernaugh has closed the White River Visitor Center of Badlands National Park for two days while crews of safety specialists inspect the grounds of the facility for potential unexploded ordnance left from the World War II era. The Center is typically open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily and is located on Pine Ridge Reservation within the South Unit of Badlands National Park.
