Got Time? Attend an Evening Program at Badlands National Park

Summer evenings in South Dakota are a great time to be outdoors and simply appreciate the world around you. You can combine this with a little fun and a few facts by attending an Evening Program at the Cedar Pass Campground Amphitheater each evening at 9:00 p.m. A schedule of topics is available at the Ben Reifel Visitor Center and bulletin boards at the Cedar Pass Campground. Evening Programs last 40 minutes and include a 10 minute introduction, followed by a 30 minute talk illustrated by slides. Evening Programs are accessible to those with mobility impairments and offer an in-depth examination on a topic selected by the presenting ranger.
