PUBLIC MEETINGS TO BE HELD IN NOVEMBER FOR BADLANDS NATIONAL PARK GENERAL MANAGEMENT PLAN

Superintendent William Supernaugh invites the public to attend public meetings during the month of November for comments on the Badlands National Park General Management Plan. Meetings will be held as follows:

Tuesday, November 13---7 to 9 p.m. Rapid City, South Dakota South Dakota School of Mines/Technology Surbeck Building, Room A-B

Wednesday, November 14---10 a.m. to Noon Pine Ridge, South Dakota Bombing Range Project Building, Main St.

Wednesday, November 14---2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Manderson, South Dakota St. Agnes Catholic Church Hall

Thursday, November 15---10 a.m. to Noon Kyle, South Dakota Rural Water Conference Room

Thursday, November 15---2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Wall, South Dakota Community Center, Main Street

These public meetings are informal open houses. Those interested in attending can arrive at any time during the scheduled meeting at the most convenient location and record their comments and discuss park plans and activities with National Park Service staff.
