Access Guide


Parking: Two accessible spaces reserved.

Visitor Center: Walkway has slight incline, and is accessible to wheelchairs. Automatic door openers (push button) located on front and rear doors. Water fountain accessible to wheelchair users.

Restrooms: Wheelchair accessible stalls in restrooms.

Picnic Area: Close to parking area. Wheelchair accessible pad and picnic table available.

Telephone: Telecommunications Device for the Deaf (TDD) available. Callers should give adequate signals and allow sufficient hookup time of TDD. (505) 334-6174 ext. 30 (Voice or TDD).

Programs: Large print trail guide, trail and exhibit audio programs, printed transcript of video program “Hisatsinom”, and outlines of ranger interpretive programs available. Replica artifacts and model of pueblo available for touching. Sign language interpreter is available with two weeks notice during summer; available weekends rest of year.

Trail: Some paved portions are accessible to wheelchairs. Steps, low narrow doorways, and slopes are present in many places. See map for description. 400 yards roundtrip. Loaner wheelchair available.
