About the panorama:
This was a very difficult panorama to photograph and piece together. There is not a convenient "center point" from which to photograph. The middle area of the Court of Honor is occupied by the Flag Circle, and the exact center point is the large flag pole from which the U.S. Stars & Stripes flag is flown. The base of this flag pole is nearly 7 feet above the stone walkway around the Court Of Honor. Photography had to be done at a downward angle, in a tight circle up against the center flag pole. Therefore, the resulting panorama has some unavoidable ghosting and misconvergence at certain places.
