Note: Most of
these images or taken while park employees or volunteers are
capturing them for "banding." These bands are small metal rings
stamped with unique identification information, so if a bird is
recaptured by other researchers, it can be traced back to Amistad
and more can be understood about their migratory movements around
the country, or if it returns to Amistad every season.
