NATIONAL PARK SERVICE SEEKS INPUT ON PWC RULE

The National Park Service is seeking public comment on a rule currently published in the Federal Register that will allow personal watercraft (PWC) at Amistad National Recreation Area. PWCs are the small one or two-person craft such as Ski-doos and Waverunners. Due to a national lawsuit, national park units that determine PWC use is appropriate must issue special rules to allow their use. The special rule covering Amistad National Recreation Area is now available for public comment for the next 60 days.
