In the chart's first tier, located at position 4 on the graded scale, the letter C is circled and the number 16224 is positioned directly beneath it in bold type. Also on the first tier, located at position 10 on the graded scale, the letter N is crossed through and an "a" is placed above it. On the chart's second tier, in position 71 on the graded scale, the letter T is circled and the number 16291 is positioned directly beneath it in bold type. The significance of the chart is to document the contaminating sequences for the DNA study. For a more detailed discussion of the DNA study refer back to the text.
